    What is the difference between MCPD and MCTS

    Hi everybody,

    I am a graduate in computer science from USA. I want to gain some skill by certification courses from Microsoft. But I am confused over the certification title, that MCPD and MCTS. Can someone explain in what is the difference between MCPD and MCTS and also objectives of each one? Thanks in advance.

    What is the difference between MCPD and MCTS

    All Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certifications retire when Microsoft discontinues normal support for the related technology. After a documentation retires, it still come into view on your transcript but is listed as stopped. In most cases, an improve path is available for people who have that credential, which allow them to show their skills on the newest version of the technology without implementation all exams associated with the new credential.
