Is the of CCNA certification important for electronics engineering students?
With just a CCNA it is a long shot, but still a possibility. An average salary would be about Rs 8000/month. Try doing CCNP also and do it from a good institute. This will greatly increase your scope of placement with a good salary.
If you want to get into the Networking field, you need to get a CCNA certification. But as said by Amol, you will have to go for further certification in networking for getting better opportunities afterwards like CCNP/CCSP and then probably CCIE (only if it is possible). And yes, you do have better chances if you are doing networking since after BE in electronics, you will have better edge over only networking professional.
But its not like CCNA is important for electronics engineering students if they are not going for Networking field.

You can do CCNA and you will have good chances of getting job as network engineer even if you are from Electronic engg. field.
See the below links for getting information on CCNA courses.
