SAE, the world’s largest media Education College through its exclusive Indian partner Access Atlantech Edutainment India Ltd, announced the admissions for their new Degree courses through the Lateral Entry mode. For the first time, a Diploma certificate in Animation, Film or Audio, can get you a Bachelor’s Degree Graduation Certification in just 24 months affiliated to the Dibrugarh University, which is under the UGC affiliation.
Commenting on the launch of this unique Degree course Mr. Rathish Babu, CEO, Access Atlantech Edutainment (I) Ltd., said, “The lateral entry program is aimed at creating fully trained professionals for the animation industry. For the first time, we have got an Indian university recognize diploma qualification from private institutions as an entry criteria for the bachelors program”.
The media sector has opened up varied options and the demand supply gap of trained professionals is widening in India; such an internationally acclaimed course can boost the confidence of the industry and Access Atlantech is the only player to provide the platform for such a course for the first time in the media and entertainment industry in India. The animation industry in India is estimated to be at USD460 million in 2008 and set to grow at a CAGR of 27% to reach USD1163 million by 2012.

It’s tied up with Big 92.7 FM to offer the first of its-kind Radio Jockey course in India.
