I am just starting this thread to share the trick for transferring long URLs easily using your kindle. You don’t need to remember those long URL anymore, you just have to do a simple task of copy and paste smartly. You can follow the below simple steps for doing that.
First press "Menu" and go to "Enter URL" after that move the cursor behind "http". It should look like this you should now see something like "|http://forums.techarena.in/ebooks/4360.htm[/url]" Where "|" represents Kindle's cursor.
After that enter “http://tinyurl.com/create.php?url= “before "http:// Read This First! Rules and GuideLines for Ebooks Forums" so that it looks like "http://tinyurl.com/create.php?url= http://forums.techarena.in/ebooks/4360.htm" and Press "Enter".
Now wait for the page to load until you are redirected to tinyurl site saying that "http://tinyurl.com/####" is short version of your long URL. You can now remember this short url easily.
