Can i put the Taskbar clock on second Monitor in Windows 8

I am using a DUAL Monitor setup with my Windows 8 pro running desktop computer. I dont have any serious problem with this setup but just wanted to do a small customization. As my title says, i wanted to remove the clock from my first monitor and put it to the second monitor's task bar? I am not sure whether this can be done but if it is possible, can anyone of you please let me know the process for doing the same? Many thanks.

I am using HP laptop with Windows 8 connected to an external extended monitor. I just tried checking out all the option and settings but didn't found anything. So its sure that there is no such option built-in in Windows but i guess there would be some third party applications which can do this for you. You should give a try searching on web. Hopefully you will get one.

There is a third party tool named as DisplayFusion which offers you that option along with many other features. Not just the clock but you can use the entire task bar separately on the second monitor as you want. You can pin, remove apps, get start menu, remove clock or whatever you want to do.

However it is a paid software, they provide you 30 days trial license key which is enough to test out the software and its features. If you like it, buy it.

I guess in Windows 8 when you unlock the task bar and drag it to the second monitor, it will extend the task bar upto second monitor and hence your clocks automatically comes to the second display. Is this what you were looking for? I haven’t tested it yet, hence cannot be sure but you can give it a try.
