Ok, this is a very common yet unaddressed issue that users are facing. There are a couple of solutions to this. The basic one would be to restore TOSKRNL.EXE. I’m sure this would be enough. If not, do let me know. There’s a more complicated yet sure shot solution to this.
I did what you said, but the image is still there. I added /noguiboot and the boot.ini file and the XP boot screen is turned off, but as soon as the boot screen goes off. The image is shown again. There has to be an alternate solution. I hope someone comes up with one ASAP.
