start menu in wrong place

The start button on my computer is in a column on the top left side of the screen . How can I move it so that it is in it's original position at the bottom left?

First of all can you tell us which Operating system are you using? Next, did you try to grab the entire Taskbar and move it to any one of the four edges of your screen and also making sure that the Taskbar is not locked first. If the entire taskbar is moved then try to left click and hold down on it then drag it back down. Hope that helps
