A month ago i downloaded the uxtheme.dll for my XP sp3, how i want to uninstall it and want to get back to previous one? How can i do this? do i have reinstall the XP SP3 for this?

Then why you want to uninstall it? I don't think so there is any drawback to patch the uxtheme.dll ?Uxtheme.dll by default prevents users from installing themes that are not digitally signed by Microsoft. By patching this DLL, you can install all third party visual styles (.msstyles) that are not digitally signed.

No need to reinstall the windows for this, simply repair install will do the work. You should always keep the backup of original files before patching them.

Uninstall ? If its malfunctioning then again download the fresh uxtheme.dll and patch it again. To download again you can refer to this thread: Windows XP SP3 Uxtheme.dll
