    Disable Windows XP Login Screen

Here's how to enable or disable Windows XP login Screen for simple and fast Start up. Disabling auto logon is handy in case if there is only single user on machine.

    First Method

    • Login as Administrator.

    • Click Start and then Run and type control userpasswords2 then click OK.

    • In the dialog box you will see "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".

    • If the box is checked, users must enter a login and a password.

    • If the box is unchecked, the system starts automatically on the administrator account.
