Install Deskscape in Windows Vista home basic

Hello,

I have downloaded the Deskscape for my windows vista honme basic, its in version v1. When i right click on desktop "play Dreamscene" in menu is disabled , i can't select it. Please help me out here

There are key pieces that DeskScapes requires must be working in order for animated wallpaper to apply.

1. MPEG-2 Video Codec (for video dreams to work)
2. DirectX9 (D3D) must be installed (for dynamic dreams to work)
3. Desktop Window Manager (DWM) must be running (for any dream to work)

Deskscapes is only free for Vista Ultimate users. To use it on any other version of Vista you have to buy it from Stardock. Vista Basic does not support Aero, therefore you cannot use Dreamscene. refer to this How do i enable Windows Aero on Vista Basic?

There is a DeskScapes V2.0 which has support for all other Vista OS`s Besides Ultimate, its a trial an comes with 3 Dream`s i think and to use any existing dreams you need to pay something like 20 bucks for the full version. its available from here , its a demo, you have to buy full, I think if you download this and install it, it will fix the issue`s your having.
