Yes off course that is possible to move sidebar to different monitor but only when you are running Windows Vista on a multiple-monitor setup. Than only it may prove convenient to move the Windows Sidebar to your second (or third, or fourth!) monitor. This will keep the Sidebar gadgets easily accessible, freeing up room on the main monitor for applications or documents.
To do so, just follow this simple few steps:-
- Click the Start button located in the lower-left corner of the Windows Vista desktop.
- Then click on Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, click on Appearance and Personalization.
- Then click on Windows Sidebar Properties.
- Under Display Sidebar on monitor, select the monitor you wish to place the Sidebar on.
- Then click on OK to apply the settings and close the dialog box.
- Windows Vista will then move the Windows Sidebar to the monitor you selected.
Thats it...
Yo can try this as well:-
1. Right-click the Windows Sidebar icon on the taskbar (it looks like the image to the left). If you do not see this icon, click the "Show Hidden Icons" arrow (it looks like the image to the right), then right-click the Windows Sidebar icon.
2. Select "Properties".
3. The "Windows Sidebar Properties" dialog box will appear. Next to "Display Sidebar on monitor" click the pull-down to change the "1" to another monitor.
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box when you're done.
Thanks for helping me guys... it works..
