Image processing with Vista

Hey is there anyone who knows a good and cheap image processing program that can be run with vista?

What requirements you have for this?

For my photos I use Picassa, which has all the features I need. For more demanding tasks you can use photoshop, but it belongs not to the low-end.

I spend much Photo Filters (photofiltre.com)
otherwise there is also The Gimp (gimp.org) - its free

The best programs are Photoshop Elements 7 and/or Photoshop Light Room 2 The latter is sovereign to rapidly create images but the first is good for substantive tasks.

Highest and best is so much said. This of course depends on needs. I am very happy with Adobe Photoshop CS3, Macromedia Fireworks and Nik Capture NX 2. But if you only need simple imaging and crop with Filtering the Photo or possibly such tasks, Paint Shop Pro will be more suitable for such tasks.
