Change the picture resolution

The problem is the following: bought a digital frame that has a 16:9 screen in the photos and stretch with the methodology. Whether there is any way to scale the images to 19:9.

The programs that I've tried always adjust the resolution of the photo automatically even when I'm putting the measures.

I do not know any such program that does this automatically, but you can do that with photoshop. Just crop the image with the size to 16/9. You gonna get a little bit of the picture clipped to do this. You can use these meters, NTI for example. 1024 * 576. just use 72 dpi, also the monitor does not read more than that.
