To personalize the text windows command prompt, you can choose between two fonts. By modifying the registry, you can activate other policies, including the police console that is perfectly suited to the command prompt.
    1. Click the Start button.

    2. In the Run field, type the command regedit and press Enter.

    3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, microsoft, Windows NT, CurrentVersion, Console, TrueTypeFont.

    4. Click the Edit menu, click New and then click String Value.

    5. Name the new value 00 and then open it by double clicking on it.

    6. In the field Value data, type the font name to add Consolas for example. Click OK.

    7. To add more fonts, repeat the operation using a different name for each font, for example 01, 02, 03, etc. Attention, fonts chosen must have a fixed width, such as the Bitstream Vera Sans font.

    8. Finally, close the Registry Editor and restart your computer.

    9. Start a command prompt window by clicking its shortcut in the Start menu, point to All Programs, Accessories.

    10. Click on the icon of the command prompt, in the upper left corner and select Properties.

    11. In the window that appears, open the Font tab.

    12. Then select the new font to use, for example Consolas.

    13. Finally, click the OK button. The change is immediate.
