Comments on the images

I and some buddies have a simple website, made the front page (yes you laugh). The pages are in html. On our site there are lots of pictures, and people are looking for some way to comment on the photos. Sure, we can refer to the guestbook but it would be fun if you could comment on the picture after that clicked thumb, today the picture is displayed only straight upside down, but funny.

Anybody who has any idea and can share their so that a bunch of idiots understand what needs to be done?

Its better to use guest book for such purpose. Setting up different pages for comments eats extra resources. By the way, can you provide the image section of what you are talking about?
