How to Reduce The Size Of The Start Menu Icons In Vista

One of the first things you will likely notice about the Vista Start menu and may be dislike is the large icons.
By default, Windows Vista uses icons for items on the Start Menu.

By my experience, most people will like to change this and will likely to use option to use smaller icons.

If you have installed Vista, you can switch to smaller Start Menu icons using the steps listed below:

    • Right click the Taskbar and click Properties.
    • Select the Start Menu tab.
    • Click the Customize button.
    • From the list of options, remove the check beside the Use large icons option.
    • Click OK.
