help me to link an swf file

I want to have a link that will play a flash website that I made for the PDF software version of my portfolio. For this I tried to link an swf file but it wont work, so is there any other way to do it? Thanks in advance

You are using which version of Flash & Acrobat reader? Did you embed the file in an InDesign document & then exporting it to PDF? What is the version of the PDF soft that you are exporting to?

Do you know that this swf is a video file so you wont be able to open video in a print document maker. You will have to add the video through Acrobat if you are trying to make a PDF document from InDesign & have the video in it.
