    where is AVG virus vault

I need some help to locate AVG Virus Vault. I cannot find it. Like other antivirus there is a separate folder which keeps the infected files locked inside it. I am also a bit doubtful about having a virus vault in avg. Has anyone seen this. Thanks.

It is a hidden directory. You cannot see it. It is somewhere in the C drive. You can simply unhide the files first and then check whether it is visible or not. The vault stores all the infected files and you can restore the same when it is needed. But it is not recommended to move files from vault. Better keep scanning your system whenever required.

Virus vault found. V_00000560.fil is probably the important program that got deleted. How do I fix this? ie. restore the program.

What is V_00000560.fil? To which program is it related to? The file or program extension may be one reason for it to be get detected by AVG as infected and so it was removed. By the way, are you sure the program is really deleted and not quarantine? May be it was really infected and so you should reinstall it from the installation package that you have used during the program install. Why don't you reinstall it once again and see if it helps.
