Antec Neo 620C PSU for I7-4790k

I am using a Intel I7-4790K CPU along with 8GB of DDR3 RAM on an Asus motherboard and GTX 970 graphics card. I am looking to buy a new power supply for my build and came across Antec Neo 620watts PSU. I was wondering if this psu will be able to support my haswell processor or not along with all other components. Does this power supply has a good certification with any rating or such? If it is not sufficient then can anyone recommend me some other psu? Thanks

I dont think there is any problem with Antec Neo Eco 620W power supply and it will be compatible with your Intel i7-4790K CPU as well. But with that GTX 970 graphics card it would not be possible to stretch it over for overclocking purpose. Most of the time the C6/C7 states from the BIOS is disabled on the motherboards but if it is not then you can do so by going into the BIOS menu. So, there is nothing to worry about.

Antec Neo Eco 620C power supply is Haswell compatible and certified and its efficiency rating is bronze as well. So, there is no need to worry since it is a very good power supply to run your Intel I7-4790K CPU. However, if you plan to opt for any different haswell certified power supply then you can check the below list:

Below units are "fully compatible" with Haswell:
    • EarthWatts Green: EA-650 Green
    • EarthWatts Platinum: EA-450, EA-550, EA-650
    • High Current Game: HCG-750, HCG-900

    • High Current Pro Platinum: HCP-1000 Platinum, HCP-850 Platinum (OC link), HCP-1000 Platinum (OC link), HCP-1300 Platinum (OC link)
    • NeoEco C: Neo Eco 620C
    • Signature: SG-650, SG-850
    • TruePower Gold: TP-550G, TP-650G

The Antec Neo Eco 620 watts power supply in reality is made by Seasonic brand. It is a very good quality psu and Haswell Certified as well. With the current build that you have there doesnt seem to be any issue with the Antec 620W PSU but in the future, if you are opting to run 2 x GTX 970 in SLI then you will probably need to upgrade your PSU, so for that I would recommend you the EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply that will cost you only $60.
