Antec HCG 750W vs XFX Pro 750W

I have a very old PSU which is almost 4 years old now so I am now looking to replace it with some good power supply. I have checked the XFX 750W psu which seems to be the number one in the brand compared to other. But I have also found the Antec HCG-750W which seems to be closer and cost not much like the XFXs. I am using a Radeon 7000 series graphics card with Intel I5 CPU, so should I be fine with the Antec HCG 750W or should I go with the XFX Pro 750 psu? Please help

Even a Antec TruePower Classic 750C would be more than enough to run your CPU and graphics card but it will be not enough to run 2 video cards in SLI as well as overclocking to 4ghz+ or so. You can even go for a modular 550watts power supply from Antec, XFX or Seasonic if you want because it will cost less and would provide plenty of power to all your hardware components. My last Antec 550W modular lasted for around 6 years.

There is no need to go with the XFX Pro 750w power supply since it is much more costly and an overkill to your CPU and graphics card. I would instead suggest you to get the Antec NeoECO 620W and it will be enough for your graphics card and CPU. This PSU comes at a very cheap rate and made of high quality hardware from Seasonic itself. You will get a lot of cable and they are even long, so if you have a large build then it will be really effective.

If you have the money to buy the Antec-HCG 750W then you should probably go for it. There is no doubt that this psu will give plenty of powers for your components and you can even use 2 video cards in crossfire with it. These are very good power supply and you wont be needing any higher model for your present components. You can even find good deals on Amazon or Newegg to get this power supply at a cheap rate.
