SeaSonic M12II-520 Evo vs Antec HCG-520M PSU

I am using Asus Z97-A motherboard along with a GTX 970 video card. I am also using a i5 processor and 8GB RAM. I am now looking to purchase a new Power Supply so I am deciding which one to go for, that is, either SeaSonic M12II-520 Evo vs Antec HCG-520M PSU. I am not going to overclock my processor as well. So is there anyone who can tell me whether this 520W power supply would be enough for my computer build? If you believe that I should go with an 620W power supply then also it would be fine. Thanks

Incase you are getting the Power Supply at a similar amount then I would recommend you to go with the SeaSonic S12II-620 power supply. It will definitely provide you more headroom for any overclocking with the aging of Power Supply components and it will run a bit cooler. This PSU from Seasonic will be a very good option for you as it comes with too many cables but note that it is not a modular psu.

If your processor is Haswell then let me tell you that the SeaSonic S12II-620 is not compatible with the Haswell processor however the Antec HCG-520M is Haswell compatible. Still all this PSUs are in the 2a tier anyways. You can easily tie them up with cable ties and lay them next to the PSU or along one side and not under the motherboard. It will draw enough air from the vent on either sides and also you can place the cables beding the PSU which will not block any airflow.

I dont know what exactly you are will be using your computer for but the Antec Neo Eco will be just fine for you. This power supply is based on the same platform to the Seasonic SII with some modifications done on it, so you can see that it is already a decent psu. The Antec Neo Eco power supply also coms with very long cables so if you have got a large computer case then it will be really useful.
