how to control fan speed in Antec P280 case?

I am using an Antec P280 case and it has a fan hub in the back that can control the speed of the fans located in the back. I was thinking to get a quiet 120mm case fan which will work and fit work in this computer case? But will I be able to control the fan speed of this aftermarket fan that I am planning to install on this case? Thanks for any answers

It seems that there is a 3 pin fan header with the Antec P280 fan controller and because of that you can easily connect any fan that has a 3 pin connector. If you are purchasing the low setting fan then it wont work. So, you should probably go with the COUGAR fans that runs at 1000RPM with a very low noise level as well. Hope this helps you out.

Even I am using the COUGAR fans in my other Antec system and when I turn on the computer then the fans run at full blast for about some seconds. Also, I wont suggest you to use the COUGAR fans at the roof of the case because it will make a grinding noise if you turn them horizontally that looks to be a known problem as reported by COUGAR themselves.

Even I am using a Antec P280 and have added 2 COUGAR CF-V12HP Fans replacing 2 of the Antec's Tricool fan that came along with the case. I was pretty much excited to get this fan since I have heard a great lot of things about it. I am also running the fan with a controller which is working smoothly with quiet noise level. It has been 1 year or so it is running perfectly.
