    Antec 520W for Radeon R9 280X TOXIC

I am looking to purchase a new Radeon R9 280X TOXIC graphics card for myself and for that I am going to buy a Antec 520m which will be given to me by my sister. I was wondering whether this power supply will be sufficient for this video card or not? Or else do I need to look out for a better high wattage power supply? Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, if it is a R9 280X Toxic graphics card then I heard from everywhere that it will need a Power Supply of atleast 750 Watt for a single card. If you would like to crossfire with 2 video cards in the future then you will need atleast 1000 Watt power supply. All the manufacturer's are recommending this so they cannot be wrong about it.

Well, you can even try to get the SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply which will more than enough to run the Radeon R9 280X TOXIC graphics card along with the motherboard and processor with ample of power. This PSU is one of the solid build ever made that doesnt look to break in any ways.

If you are talking about Antec High Current Gamer HCG-520M 520W Power Supply then it will be fine for the graphics card that you want to buy. But can you tell us about the rest of your computer specs. I have heard that AMD graphics card are power hungry so if you can get atleast a 650 Watt PSU then it will be better for the long run otherwise Antec HCG-520M will also do the work for you.
