Antec TruePower 550W for HD 7950

I am going to build a new computer. For that I have choosen core i7 950, Msi X58 Pro board, and a graphics card of HD 7950 along with some hard drive and dvd drive. I was thinking if Antec TruePower 550W Power supply would be more than enough for the graphics card and rest of the hardwares or should I buy any other psu? Thanks for any suggestions.

I have looked at you setup and after researching for how much PSU watts your computer build should require, I found that Antec TruePower 550W is more than sufficient for your rig. It will be good enough to power your graphics card and also all other components. You will be also able to do some overclocking. Antec makes good quality PSU's and you should not worry about them.

I dont think that the HD 7950 graphics card is not so power consumption card and seems to be low power usage. So you can stick to the Antec TruePower 550W power supply which will be more than enough for this video card. You can expect to get a good amount of amps for the HD 7950 card and also to the rest of the hardware that you have.
