Antec 620 or Cooler Master Hyper 212+

Well, I am looking to buy a cooler for my Gigabyte 990FX motherboard. I also got AMD phenom 965 processor. Now I cannot decide which one to go for among the Antec 620 or Cooler Master Hyper 212+. For getting the best temperatures under 3.5ghz+ overlocking which one of these coolers do you all think would be the best bet to go for? Thanks

Well, there is no doubt that Antec 620 is the best cooler if compared with Cooler Master Hyper 212+. Also, most of the system differ from each other even with the same parts, so you will have to try it to find it out. You can try to raise at 3.5ghz easily with either 4.1 or 4.2 but note that the temp might jump a little bit, so have a regular check over it.

Yes, even I agree that you should go for Antec KUHLER 620 that delivers high-performance liquid cooling for your CPU and it is very easy to install. Unlike traditional liquid cooling, this self-contained unit comes prefilled and requires no maintenance. The 120mm fan voltage controls coldplate of 3rd generation copper with efficient cooling and a life time estimated at 50,000 hours, which means that Antec 620 probably survives your system for longer time. The easy-bend flexible tubing allows the Antec 620 to be installed in any direction.

The best between these 2 coolers would be Antec 620 as well as Noctua NH-U12P SE2, if you want to choose a different one. Comparing it with the Cooler Master Hyper 212+, the Antec 620 will give you atleast 4-6 degree celcius cooling advantage. Also you will be able to mod the Antec with a second fan to use the option of push-pull and give you the best cooling possible.
