converting USB 3 header in Antec 302 case

I am using an Antec 302 cabinet for quite sometime now and it is a great case for sure. The issue that I am facing is that there is no USB 3.0 support in my motherboard. So I was thinking to convert the lead from the Usb 3 header to the 9 pin connectors on the board, will it be possible? Does anyone know a way how to do this? Thanks.

Antec has included a USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 Internal Adapter for some of their cabinet. You can try contacting Antec and they will send you usb 2 to 3 adaptor for free of charge I suppose. Or you can email them at their official website and you will soon get a response for sure.

I think that the plugging connection for 2.0 is different to 3.0, so what you can do is buy an adapter that can connect to the front 3.0 panel to your 2.0 onboard connection. You will hardly have to spend less than $15-$20 for this kind of connectors available at many online stores.
