How to transfer domain controller roles

I am having around 4 different clients on Windows 2003 Domain Controller. There are two domain controllers on the setup. Now the second Domain Controller is not having any updated info of forest while the first one is completely updated. There is a DHCO server also on the first DC. I need some help here by which I can simply transfer roles appropriate from one DC to another. This will be easy for me to keep track on newly updated changes.

Here are some links that will give you more information on your process. I think the links below are quiet enough for you to transfer the roles between DC.

This can be done if you are on FSMO rules. You can transfer by using ntdsutil.exe. This is a command line utility that will allow you to transfer the roles. You can also use MMC Snap-in Tools for the same. The tools that can be used for this are AD Schema snap-in, AD Domains and Trusts snap-in and AD Users and Computers snap-in.
