I dont have any machines populating the console of WSUS. I also dont have any firewall or proxy settings. I have also redone the Group Policy to make sure that it is set up properly. Can anyone please help me out with this issue? Thanks.

Can you tell us whether this is cloned machine? You can try to copy the below to a text file and save it as a batc file and then run it on the affected machines and check the results:
Code:net stop wuauserv reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /v AccountDomainSid /f reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /v PingID /f reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /v SusClientId /f net start wuauserv wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow gpupdate/force /boot
Have you already assured the group policy getting applied on the clients? You can try a "rsop.msc" on a client in Start > Run. Check whether the policy show up or not? Thanks.
You will have to check if the GPO is properly configured and its being applied if it does, then you can try the batch provided and see if that works.
One key issue I haven't seen answered for an issue like this with GPOs:
Where MUST the WSUS edits be done in the GPO?
Must is be the Computer- Default Domain Polcy?
Or can it be an =OU - sub GPO??
