    Group Policy to disable StandBy Mode in windows XP SP2

    I am looking for a way to disable "Standby Mode" in Windows XP SP2. Can anyone tell me whether there are any policy out there to disable this function. Thanks.

    You can try to do what you are looking for in the registry and then you can build an Administrative Template to do it. Also, try to disable it on a machine manually while watching the registry with something like regmon from SysInternals.

    Alright, thanks for the reply, I have got it now, we need to add parameters in the registry. I will try to push the regkey via sms.
