Changing IP Address of a DC

I want some advice on taking precaution before I modify the ip address of the Domain Controller. I am having a Windows 2003 Domain Controller. I just want to know that will there is any issue if I do this. What are possible options available that can help me to change the same. And will that be safer to do in cmd or in gui.
