Transferring Domain Controller Windows Server 2003

How to rebuild the catalog in Active Directory. I am trying to do the same on Windows domain controller but not able to find out the proper way of doing the same. I want to install a new domain and then I have to perform all the settings from scratch. Rightnow we are having a network of around 80 and single Windows 2003 server. I have to make some changes so I thought it would be better if I transfer the DC to some where. I am having a new server installed.

Try using netdom query. You have to first get some collection about FSMO rules. It is essential that you must transfer the roles properly so that there would be no major problem. Try to reboot the same. I am going to give you a link that will provide you dept information on the process that you are trying to do.
