How to disable USB sticks through AD

There are more than 100 pc on the network which are connected to a single domain that is running on Windows 2003 Server. I need some help to create a policy through which I can simply disable the usb. I went into the settings but still not able to find anything related to that. I had seen some users are still using usb due to which there is a maximum chances of infection. Also I want some help to implement the policy effectively.

For that you will need to modify the administrative template. You can simply disable the usb, cd rom through that. I am giving you a link that has the full code that you will need to insert in the template.

You will do the following settings here. For that you have to go in Group Policy Object. You can find a section as computer configuration. Click on Preferences there and then click on Windows settings. Now click on registry and action. Click on new > registry item. The item type that you will find is SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor. You have to type the value 4 here to block usb.
