Group policy overrides local proxy settings

    Hello

i have a problem at my workplace. We use to manage proxy settings for the users manually at their pc. Few days before i've explored the GPO-s and i'm not changed settings. After that the proxy settings are disappeard at the user accounts. I think GPO overrides the local settings.
The problem is: We dont want to use GPO-os to set proxy, we want to set it manually.

    Thank you for your help

You can go to Tools then Internet Options then LAN Settings and then Check Automatically Detect Settings. I think this should do the trick for anyone that needs to connect elsewhere.

Re: Group policy overrides local proxy settings

    Hello!

I tried it but it is not the best solution because some of the pages cant be loaded in the web browser with this setting.

Do you have any idea? Somebody told that if i recreate the GPO it will solve the problem. I tried it with a test GPO on a test user and it worked but there are a lot of settings are applied in that GPO and i'm afraid of that i miss something and itt will not work perfectly.

    Regards
