AD SSL Simple bind failed

Hi,
We are using AD 2003 server x64. Created new certificate, exported it into a file and using a simple LDAP Browser or a java code when we try to bind through SSL it fails and we are getting an error called SSL handshake failed: Simple bind failed. Please help me here.

Just check if you are maintaining the basic steps that i am giving you here, i am sure that it will work well with you.

Domain Name: {mention the full domain name: localdomain.local)
Directory Service Type: Active Directory

now it is always better to Check the option"Use the specified directory servers"

put Primary Directory server as srv-dc-01.localdomain.local

Also do not forget to mention the Optional secondary as
srv-dc-02.localdomain.local

It is always better to keep the SSL off, then enter the username and the password accordingly. Do not forget to test the connection and then see if everything is working out or no.
