adding user from one domain to another domain

There are few users from one domain with us, who want to access to another domain. Both the domains are Windows Server 2003 and are separate. Some users from one domain want to be in some groups or another domain. The trust relationship is validated and is working, but for some reason if I got to active directory users and computers then I cannot see another domain and cannot select anyhing. Can anyone tell me what is wrong here?

I am guessing that you have a 2 direction trust, so in the destination domain, create a local security group and assign permissions to that security group. After that add the users from the source domain to that security group, it will work for you.
