AD user entries: photos included?

If I am using Active Directory to manage user accounts on the network, then will it provide for including a pics of the user as part of the AD record? Outlook is able to do it, so I was assuming if AD can do it also. I was guessing that it could be a fine security measure in large companies. Thanks for any information.

You can try to update your Active Directory picture with the AD Photo Edit Tool. Just follow the steps given in the website link below, to upload or edit a photo in a user’s Active Directory to have it display correctly in Lync:
