MSI Motherboard Question?

MSI Motherboard Question?

Well my motherboard manual does not explain the audio connectors. for example
my motherboard has Line in , line out , RS , CS , SS , And Mic. What is RS ,
CS and SS though? any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the number of the board?
Here is a picture of a 7.1 sounnd card maybe the colors can match up to what you have:

Just says k9n6gm-v series motherboard.

From one of the K9 manuals, not sure if your exact model:

These audio connectors are used for audio devices. You can differentiate the color
of the audio jacks for different audio sound effects.

Blue audio jack - Line In / Side-Surround Out in 7.1 channel mode, is used
for external CD player, tapeplayer or other audio devices.
Green audio jack - Line Out, is a connector for speakers or headphones.
Pink audio jack - Mic In, is a connector for microphones.
Black audio jack - Rear-Surround Out in 4/ 5.1/ 7.1 channel mode.
Orange audio jack - Center/ Subwoofer Out in 5.1/ 7.1 channel mode

thank you david i believe that cleared things up. :D was just trying to find
out if i can have head phones and a pc stereo connected because i am mixing
music. guess i have to buy a soundcard then.
