where is the windows boot log file

i'm working with a computer that boots to a blue windows screen but won't go
any further (into the desktop). I want to use a logged boot but I'm not
sure where the log for the boot will be placed.

Can someone tell me where to find the boot log file?

thank you!

bob

If you can't boot to Safe Mode or the Normal desktop, you will need to boot to the
Recovery Console to see/read it. The Boot Logging text is recorded in the
Ntbtlog.txt file in the %SystemRoot% folder.

If you can get to Safe Mode you can try :
