usb driver problem in xp.

when i connect my canon digicam via dc to the system, the dialog box opening, found new hardware..but,its not installing thus its need driver cd.. and connected camera also not working in system..
so,whats the solution for this problem..

my system is HP..Xp..service pack 2..

You need to tell us what is the model number of the digicam that you have. Also havent you got the software cd that comes included in the box of canon camera?
