Error 2481: The UPS service is not configured correctly

If I am trying to start the UPS service then I am getting an error message tat says "Could not start the UPS service on Local Computer. Error 2481: The UPS service is not configured correctly". I also checked that there are no UPS tab in the Power Options. Can anyone tell me how do I solve this problem. Thanks.

Incase you are using a UPS then you will need to have the proper drivers installed and the software that comes with it should be able to configure the UPS service. You can use the APC UPS which are the only UPS that I have seen that shows up perfectly in the Power Options without any kind of problems and even for those that dont configure the UPS service or use it.

I have bought a Belkin UPS and have installed it on my computer with the software that was given by them. The setup works properly and there are no problems that I am facing as well using this UPS.
