Removing Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - July 2008 (KB890830)

After June last date, my computer is hanging instead of showing me the welcome screen and the display has gone into powersaving mode and locked as well. I have done a system restore on the last day of June and everything was working. After that windows update applied some updates and then the hangs came back. So, I did another System Restore and then turned off the automatic updates. But it turned back on again, and the fixes was applied again? So I turned off Windows update again, and I then tried to remove the updates manually. Now, the problem is Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool doesnt appear in Add or Remove Programs, even with updates shown. Can anyone tell me how to remove this? Thanks

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool is not shown in the Add/Remove Programs and I dont think that it is causing the issue for you. Did you try to download/install KB951748 and using any kind of third party firewall software or such?

Can you try to right click on details of your Windows Malicious Software Removal tool and then hit details, then do you get this message "Once you install this can't be removed?"

Where can I find Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool in order to right click on details? I was never been able to find out what happens to it after it downloads and installs automatically? I just simply cannot find it anywhere listed in my computer?
