Computers on network can't connect
I have recently bought a new router and some computers on the network are not able to see each other. All of those are able to connect to internet properly but. These all computers are on the same network. There is one computer which will not see the network at all and 2 will see each other but will get some error that they dont have permission to access the network. Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks. |

Re: Computers on network can't connect
Have you checked the firewalls on the systems that are not able to see the other pc? Incase the change in the router also changes the subnets in use, by which the old router had an address range starting at, 192.168.0.1 and the new one is 192.168.1.1, then the firewalls may think this is a forrign network and block traffic. |

Even I think that it might be a similar issue, how can I change it? Thanks. |

Re: Computers on network can't connect
It actually normally depends on the firewalls that you are using. Incase you have Norton or Macfee installed, then the process is different for each. |
