What part of, well ... MANY of the posts he's made recently, saying he's
willing to drop the whole thing if you remove his name from your sig have
you failed to comprehend?

He's extended the olive branch. It's now up to you to either accept it, or
continue to look foolish, IMO.

What part of been there done that don't you comprehend.

You mean you actually removed his name from your sig (for more than a post
or two) and he continued to "stalk" you?

I've used this name since 89, having been on Usenet since 84, and I see

You have not, not once, removed all traces of my name from your
messages.

I've offered many times, take my name out of your messages and I won't
have to defend my name. It's that simple Chris - no part of my name in
your messages and I won't have to defend my name.

Try it - take my name out of your messages for a week, including the
website you stalk me with, and see how it works - it's all in your court
now Chris.

First, bad assumption on stalking - he's the one stalking as every post
he makes has my name in it, he even created a domain name in my honor.

Second - he's NEVER removed my name from his posts since he started
this, not once. Sure, he took it out of the sig, but he left the domain
name and email address with my name in it. It's an all or nothing type
thing, but he's not honorable enough to do it.

I have similar problem... On start up i just get my background displayed..
Can only open taskman.. And from there can open everything wlsw

Same problem occuring on my end, I am exploring this as a potential to learn. I don't want to b-line this as I am not cassual user. There are a number of possibilities at work here, mine points to a memory leak, I can assume no malware as I have been closely monitoring tasks in task manager, h-keys for modified strings, added key branches and so on. I notice when the problem initiates is when I have intense applications of graphic and seperate audio running.(i.e. If I run a game with sound disabled rather than muted it still occurs if I run winamp. If it were simply an audio or video failure I would lose or have degredation of one or the other.)

Also to note, the computer is old, it has 512 memory and running xp,the graphics are fine, it is an intel chipset which is not flawless but considering this is a temp untill i can get my RoG fixed without voiding the waranty. That one had a few defects from assembly resulting in hardware failure, /sadface

With age comes instabillity,though I can fix it hardware wear and tear is immanent,I recovered it from someone who had actually spilled tea in it and damaged it, said person a younger familly member who did not know better.
At any rate I will keep posted on how to resolve this issue.

my main focus,is to make my result user friendly. I already know the fault is in windows memory management, maybe a simple toggle will help, maybe a minor restructure of explorer function. My advice is try updating to the latest updates,if it continues there in lies the solution. I refuse to use anything above sp1 on my own time because i know of many of the major faults that have not been mended, or stemmed from new fixes.

The price we pay for shelled integration is time.
