    sttray.exe error on boot

I am stuck with an sttray.exe error on boot. Whenever I start my pc I am getting this error. The error is sttray.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point LocalizeString could not be located in the dynamic link library STLang.dll. Is this a virus. I am having AVG in my pc and it detects nothing. I had scanned my system in safe mode also. But nothing is detected. How to stop this error. I hope there will be some way available for the same.

No it is not a virus issue. The problem that you are getting on startup is due to sigmatel audio system. You have to check your startup. You can disable it or you can simply re-install your audio or sound card related drivers and then test back. I am sure that will be quiet enough for you to fix the problem you are facing. Just simply re-install the sound drivers and then test back. You can also run the latest motherboard drivers setup and then check back.
