Windows Live Messeger Error code - 80072745

Whenever I try to sign in I am getting a error code on my screen. The error code is 80072745. The version of Windows Live Messenger that I am using is 2008. I think this is the latest. I had just recently upgraded it and it was working well. Suddenly it has started giving me trouble. I had also tried to run a repair setup but still it is not working. Can anyone help me here. How can I fix the problem.

There are number of issues behind that error. The first is problem with internet connectivity. If there is a bug with internet connection you get this kind of issue. Check that your connectivity lies stable. The second reason is firewall or antivirus like Zone Alarm. The connection is being blocked due to which you get the message. You will need to add the same under exception list and ensure that it is not blocked. Try to re-install messenger and then check back.
