no rumble feature on a pc using the xbox 360 wired pad

I have a Windows XP gaming computer and now a day am playing F1 Challenge 99. I also have a Xbox 360 wired pad which is connected with the PC. Due to some unknown problem this pad doesn’t vibrates with my PC or the game. I have also updated its driver to v 1.10.123.0 but still the same problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If the Xbox Pad is not vibrating that doesn’t means the problem is in the Pad, but it is with your game. As you said you are playing F1 Challenge 99'-02', let me tell you that game from 1999 (published 6/03) doesn't send vibration commands to the game controllers. For your information video games manufactured in those days use to support Force Feedback which is also know as FFB and that different from triggering 2 vibrators to simulate on screen events. So you need to check your game settings if there is any option to make your game controller vibrate.
