Sims 2 start problem

Hey people what's up
Hey can anyone help me?
Because I've bought Sims 2 and it's not workin..
I mean.. um
When I install it and try to play
( Well I was kinda happy cuz firstly it was readin and i c the like u know
the movie kinda stuff, then suddenly it my computer monitor became real
freaky...)
Can any1 help me plz
Oh ye and the sims body shop iz workin LOL

Is it just the Sims 2 you're trying to get to work, or an expansion pack?
