    WinXP System Error - Cat 102 - ID 1003

I am running Windows XP with SP2 on a Pentium 4, 1gb ram. There is a system with us that is crashing during the test at some time and I am getting the below system error. The only difference is a new motherboard. We think that there is some issue with this new system and on of the PCI cards.

Can you try to test the memory's performance on the new motherboard, whether it has to do something with the error?

If you have the 0x0000009C: MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION bug then it indicates that there is a fatal machine check exception occurred. For more information, check this website - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-in/libr...=vs.85%29.aspx

Thanks for the reply, if we found nothing else then we would take it that it is hardware issue.
