Hyperbowl Game Won't Start

I replaced my bad hard drive and I'm trying to get Hyperbowl re-installed. I
understand there was a Microsoft " Hotfix " issued about a year ago for a
security update that microsoft released that kept this game from working.
Does anybody know the link to that "hotfix" or who I may contact? Hyperbowl's
web site and phone number does not work anymore.

RE: Hyperbowl Game Won't Start

I too had to replace my hard drive and am having the same trouble as Jeff
when trying to launch HyperBowl Arcade Edition. Does anyone know of how we
can get this to launch?

Thanks

Hyperbowl Tips

I purchased a new computer for my son. Upon installing Hyperbowl, the program would not work. I have XP SP3 installed. I did finally get the program to work. Depending on the condition of your old hard drives, this may or may not work. If the drive was not operating correctly, try putting it in a zip lock baggie and putting it in the freezer for a few hours. This will free up the bearing for the platters by contracting the metal.

Now, I took the hard drive from the old computer and hooked it up to another computer of mine as a slave drive. There are also other options, like getting an enclosure with a USB connection. You may also need to tap the drive lightly to initiate it spinning if it's seized hard. If you are able to access your old hard drive in either one of these ways, you're almost there. Make sure you have the Hyperbowl program installed on the new hard drive, then on the old drive, navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Hyper Entertainment\. Copy the folder \HyperBowl Arcade Edition\ and all of it's contents and paste it into the \Hyper Entertainment\ folder on the new device, following the same path as on the old device. Answer Yes to All for any prompts to overwrite files. If you're computers are connected over a wireless network, you can do it thru there. If not, you can burn the files on a CD. Or if you made the slave drive on you're existing computer, copy/paste directly.

Hope this helps!!!
