| Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000 - volume control iss
Hello, I installed a new soundcard ( M-audio Delta Audiophile 2496 ), and downloaded the newest drivers for this. After a successful install, keyboard volumecontrol buttons wont work! (mute button is dead as well). It seems like this keyboard I'm using (Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000, http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mo...s.aspx?pid=081) is only tuned to adjust overall system volume, but this control is somewhat hijacked by the M-Audio driver/software!! Only Wav volume remains in the system-tray. I have a friend with the same problem, except he has another type of keyboard. However the principle of the case is the same. I do some teaching in pro-tools, and very much need these keyboard-functions for my sessions. There must be some sort of workaround for this ? -------------------- Windows XP Pro, SP2 Intel Core 2 duo 2GB ram |
